Andy and I landed in northern Botswana yesterday, fired up for the Makgadikgadi Epic skydiving event! We have a few days to check out the spectacular sights in the area, starting with a mini road trip across the border to Zimbabwe to visit Victoria Falls. It's a beautiful, powerful force of nature! Standing on the edge as the force of the water casts swirling mist into the air, getting an occasional spritz of liquid cloud as the wind shifts... it's one of the most moving places I've ever been on planet earth. With an occasional warthog sighting to keep it real. And in a few days, we get to skydive over the pans a little further south, which are currently full of water and reportedly hosting flocks of flamingos. Life is good.
